I can’t believe it’s already here, but YES! The St. Patrick’s Day Parade is this Saturday! And yinzers – Irish or not – will be flooding the streets of Downtown Pittsburgh celebrating with green beer!
Wouldn’t it be nice to enjoy downtown AND the South Side without having to worry about searching for or paying for parking, OR even worse, getting towed?
WELL, you’re gonna love today’s Trending @ 10!
According to triblive.com, the city is offering free parking in a lot on Second Avenue, near the 10th Street Bridge, starting at 5 a.m. this Saturday until 5 a.m. on Sunday!
On top of that, they’ll be offering a FREE shuttle that’s going to multiple stops on the South Side, including: Muriel and South 12th streets, South 18th and Sidney streets, and South 21st and East Carson streets! It will start running at 2 p.m. on Saturday and go until 2 a.m. on Sunday!
The only slight catch – the parking lot holds 810 spots. SO! My suggestion is to carpool and get there early!!
Enjoy St. Patty’s (responsibly)!!
