Little Big Town Lucky ‘Better Man’ Didn’t End Up In Email Spam Folder

Fresh off their performance at The Grammy Awards and after their song, “Better Man,” hit the top of the country chart, Little Big Town’s Karen Fairchild, Jimi Westbrook, Kimberly Schlapman, and Phillip Sweet spoke with Ally & Andy about their upcoming 7th album “The Breaker.”

“Better Man” was the first single off “The Breaker” and it was written by Taylor Swift. Philip said, “She just sent it to us like ‘Hey what to do you think of that song? I can hear your harmonies on it,’ and we were like, “Yeah we’ll take that, thanks!”

Kimberly joked, “We’re lucky it didn’t go into Phillip’s spam folder because he got the email.”

The week will include an appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon on Thursday and they’ve already heard that they’ll be involved in some sort of skit. Plus, during each of their tv appearances over the next week or so, they’re going to try to sing a different song from “The Breaker.”

“The Breaker” is scheduled to be released on Friday, February 24th.
