Trending @ 10: Harry Potter Film and Cultural Festival Coming to Pittsburgh!

I cannot contain my geek on today’s Trending @ 10!!

A ‘Harry Potter’ Film and Cultural Festival is coming to Pittsburgh! For two weeks starting this Friday, Row House Cinemas on Butler Street in Lawrenceville will be transformed into Hogsmeade AND Hogwarts!

According to the schedule of events at rowhousecinema.com, there will be costume contests, trivia contests, house sorting, HOMEMADE BUTTER BEER from Bierport and Copper Kettle, and even Harry Potter flavored ice cream from Millie’s Homemade Ice Cream!

All 8 movies will be screened, of course! And local Harry Potter tribute band Muggle Snuggle will be performing, too!

Owner of Row House Cinemas, Brian Mendelssohn, said in a press release that all of his staff are such big ‘Harry Potter’ fans, that they’re all working so hard to make it perfect! He also said “so many Pittsburgh organizations are involved in bringing this event together. It should be an incredible event for all Harry Potter fans.”

All events are 21+, except for two Family Days on February 25 and 26, which will be for all ages! See the full schedule here and buy passes here!

Wands up, everyone! Enjoy!
