This week’s American Warrior is United States Marine Corps Corporal Kyle J Taylor. Kyle graduated high school from Pine-Richland and was considered, in his words, the “class clown” and was someone who no one thought would end up in the Marines, until his guidance counselor suggested the idea to him.
Kyle was deployed to Afghanistan and served as a Machine Gunnar for the Quick Reaction Force.
Kyle shares some of his story with Ally and Andy and also talks about his struggles with PTSD.
Kyle has dealt with his struggles from drinking, to at one point considering taking his own life and has now taken a new stance on life.
