Pittsburgh Steelers Defensive End Stephon Tuitt joined Ally & Andy on Tuesday (September 20) for the first ever Tuitt Tuesday. Each week Tuitt will keep Ally & Andy and Y108 Nation up to speed on what’s happening with the team.
What a way to start the season – winning the first two games. “It feels great to start off the season 2-0,” Tuitt told Ally & Andy. “We have high expectations. We only think about going to the Super Bowl and winning the first eight games of the year is very important to us.”
Andy made reference to the pressure that Tuitt put on Washington Redskins Quarterback, Kirk Cousins, in the first game of the season. Stephon said, “That’s my job – to put pressure on the quarterback. Adn we’re gonna get better every week. We’re actually getting better in that category, but right now I want to thank my DB’s. Our DB’s are palying lights out right now and they’re helping us to get a chance to get back there to disrupt and force some bad throws by the quarter back.”
Pittsburgh beat the Redskins in that game, 38-16.
Tuitt said he’s feels good about the direction of the team, even with new players and questions fans had regarding the team at the end of last season. “I’m definitely feeling positive. We want to make sure, the questions that you have, we have answers. Week in and week out, we’re practicing hard, going in and doing the things we have to do to get a win.
A&A learned that Tuitt is a father of one, but wants more children. “I want six,” he said.
Tuitt Tuesday with Ally & Andy is presented Beaver County Dodge Chrylser Jeep Ram Nissan.
