If given the choice, would you rather have your smartphone or your friends?
It may not surprise you to find out that more than 37% of people surveyed rate their smartphone higher than their friends. That’s according to the results of new study released by Kaspersky Lab.
“Our friend-like connection with our smartphones means that we place an incredible degree of trust in an inanimate object – so much so, that we consider it a closer and more important element of our lives than many other people,” said Astrid Carolus, Media Psychologist who was in charge of the study.
Nearly 30 percent say their smarphone is more important that their parents and 21 percent say it’s more important that their partner.
