Y108 Columbia Gas of PA Comfort Convoy

Y108 is teaming up with Operation Troop Appreciation, Columbia Gas of Pennsylvania to help secure “wish list” items for the men and women who serve our country.

Show your support and drop off your donation on April 30 from 9am to 7pm at the Operation Troop Appreciation headquarters at Century III Mall in West Mifflin. Look for us on the Upper deck of the old Sears.

The need for support and appreciation from the home front is critical for our troops, as many have been away from their homes and families for very long periods of time.

The treacherous terrain, lack of infrastructure, non-existence of military exchanges, and remote base locations in combat prevent our troops from obtaining basic supplies. Many live on remote outposts where there are no creature comforts such as reliable electricity, heated tents, or running water.

Here are the things most needed by Operation Troop Appreciation to create the packages sent to active duty soldiers and for welcome home packages.

Active Duty:
mens deodorant
sunscreen
body wash

Welcome Home:
Band Aids
Multi-Purpose Cleaner
Liquid Dish Soap
Paper Towels
Toilet Paper
