Trending @ 10: Pittsburgh Goes Purple for Prince

My heart is still hurting that we’ve lost yet ANOTHER music legend this year, with Prince passing away yesterday at the age of 57.

And Pittsburgh did its part to pay its respects on today’s Trending @ 10:

The Gulf Tower and the Homestead-Grays Bridge went purple last night in honor of the late pop icon:

According to TMZ.com, he was pronounced dead at 10:07am yesterday morning. Last week, his plane had to make an emergency landing because of a medical emergency. But, the cause of death is still unknown, and an autopsy is planned for today.

Seriously, though. Is 2016 not the SADDEST year in music so far?! First we lost David Bowie, then Glenn Frey and Merle Haggard, now Prince. Too many legends gone WAY too soon. Rest easy, friends. We miss you already.
