Taylor Swift has shared a behind the scenes look at her music video for “Out of the Woods.”
Directed Joseph Kahn takes us through some of the clip’s underwater shots and to the New Zealand beach, where the video’s opening and closing scenes were shot.
“The entire video is Taylor suffering through an emotional landscape,” says Kahn “it’s a metaphor, being done practically on location.”
Taylor also shares that she was not super excited for the mud scene, “it’s gonna be gloppy and cold and slimy and I’m gonna be climbing in it,” she jokes.
