I love summer. I love the sun shining, the windows down and daylight ’til 9p!

The great thing about these songs is I feel that warm, relaxed feeling anytime I listen!

I guess the goal for my list was based around the idea of “if I was putting together music to listen to next to a pool, what would they be?”

So here’s my list of songs that really put me in a summer state of mind.

1) Zac Brown Band “Jump Right In!”

2) Blake Shelton “Boys Round Here!”

3) Luke Bryan “Country Girl Shake It For Me”

4) Little Big Town “Pontoon”

5) Florida Georgia Line “Cruise”

6) Brad Paisley “Water”

7) Jake Owen “Barefoot Blue Jean Night”

8) Rascal Flatts “Summer Night”

9) Kenny Chesney “Summertime”

Ok, Kenny should be represented by many different songs.

So I need to give a little love to…oh, “Beer in Mexico” and “You and Tequila”

Heck, all of his songs make me feel like summer!

Some of the songs are obvious ‘summer songs’ and others just play like some of the things I love about the season

A couple of the songs I picked because they tell a story like a big summer blockbuster movie.

Some of them just remind me of the relaxing moments of a slow summer day.

Some of them are just songs that I love to hear because they make me feel good and so does summer weather.

So not every song I pick features bikini’s in the video and the word “summer” in the title. Other’s do and next up I gotta give it to Kid Rock!

10) Kid Rock “All Summer Long”

11) Keith Urban “Long Hot Summer”

12) Toby Keith “Bullets In The Gun”

13) Dierks Bentley “Up On A Ridge”

14) Rodney Atkins “Take A Backroad”

15) Brantley Gilbert “Country Must Be Countrywide”

16) Big & Rich “Save A Horse”

17) Jack Ingram “Barefoot And Crazy”

18) Brooks & Dunn “Hillbilly Deluxe”

19) Miranda Lambert “Baggage Claim”

20) Randy Houser “Whistlin’ Dixie”

Have a wonderful summer! Ally
