“I’m in hopes that I can become a really good matchmaker one day,” Brett Eldredge told Radio.com.

Currently championing his own dating show Take Me Home Tonight, Brett sets up two fans on a blind date with the “hopes that they’ll fall deeply in love and get married some day.”

Brett’s dates push each couple out of their comfort zone and involve everything from wine tasting to pole dancing.

“I’m so glad I didn’t have to pole dance. I’m so uncoordinated,” he confessed. “If I had to pole dance that would be very awkward.”

Unfortunately his matchmaking skills didn’t pan out this time around.

“They didn’t fall in love. It was not exactly the perfect match. I’m still working on that.”

Either way, Brett is convinced there’s somebody out there for each of us, himself included.

“When it comes to dating, especially with music, there’s always somebody out there for you that gets you,” he said. “I’m definitely open to one day meeting somebody who loves music and loves being out there and traveling. There’s always a match for you out there and hopefully I’ll find it and hopefully you find it too.”

“Hopefully I can help you find it if I continue my matchmaking. I think everybody has somebody for them and they’re out there waiting for you somewhere.”

As for what Brett did on Valentine’s Day, he celebrated from the road this year.
