The big news from the Academy of Country Music this week was the reveal that the 48th ACM Awards will take place Sunday, April 7, and that Luke Bryan will cohost the show with Blake Shelton.
But there’s more going on in Las Vegas that week than just the award ceremony. The annual ACM Experience will also feature two days of live country music from such artists as The Band Perry, Brantley Gilbert, Justin Moore, and Florida Georgia Line (all on Friday, April 5) and then Dierks Bentley, Eli Young Band, and Hunter Hayes on Saturday, April 6. This will be a ticketed show, and additional artists will be announced as the show draws closer.
The ACM Fan Jam then happens on Sunday, April 7, with host Brad Paisley. Portions of this Sunday show will be included in the ACM Awards broadcast.
All the above events take place at the Orleans Hotel and Casino, which is just west of the Strip. In addition, the Experience also includes games, dance competitions, and shopping at the ACM Expo. More details, including additional performers, will be released soon, but as of now tickets to the full ACM Experience are being sold as room and event packages through the Orleans.
The 48th ACM Awards will be broadcast Sunday, April 7 at 8pm ET (delayed PT) on CBS.
