When an artist appears on Sesame Street, some might say they have arrived. And when that appearance is in the form of a puppet–well, all the better.
Blake Shelton has been known to clown around a bit, and now he is seen doing so in a new puppet-ized video clip from the upcoming 43rd Sesame Street season that parodies him and his compatriots on The Voice.
Aside from some funny gag moments involving swiveling chairs, and some spot-on characterizations and commentary (“no distractions, and no cheap gimmicks!”), there is a lesson in the video.
Watch and learn, kids:
The only judge missing in the clip is Adam Levine–since this is only a preview clip, maybe Adam makes it into the full sketch, but we’ll have to wait until fall to see that. The new season of Sesame Street premieres September 24, so warm up your DVR!
