A Monaca police officer was reportedly shot in the leg around 5:20PM on Wednesday, July 25. The incident occurred outside the CoGo’s on Pennsylvania Avenue in Monaca. The wounded officer was sent to Heritage Valley Beaver hospital in Brighton. A witness reportedly saw the officer limping as he was helped to the ambulance.

One person is in custody. Another suspect is said to be at large.
