One of the most exciting new acts to come out of Nashville is a threesome called The Farm.

With a driving fiddle and perfect harmonies The farm puts on a show full of energy and great music.

Here are a few things you may not know about the band.

1. Shiny & New
They are a brand new act composed of three people, two guys and one gorgeous gal. Krista Marie (gorgeous gal), Nick Hoffman and Damien Horne.

2. L.A. Just Wasn’t Their Scene
Two of the member of The Farm (Krista and Damien), tried their hand at ‘making it big’ (separate from each other) in Los Angeles. Along the way, both ended up in Nashville where all three met for the first time.

3. Sawin’ On the Fiddle
Nick Hoffman was the fiddle player for Kenny Chesney for 12 years! When Nick told Kenny about The Farm Kenny told him you have to do this (start your own band). Even though Kenny told Nick “You’ll always have a place in my band,” Nick told me it was the hardest conversation he’s ever had.

4. Beltin’ Out The Tunes…Classically
Krista Marie is classically trained as an opera singer.

5. Writers And Performers
Their first single, Home Sweet Home was written and performed by all three of them.

6. First Time In The Steel City
They played Pittsburgh for the first time on June 30th at the Y108 Tiki-Town stage.

7. Lace Up The Skates
Nick is from Minnesota and used to play hockey. Still would if time allowed.

8. Big Discovery That Could Make Them Rich
Damien was discovered by John Rich of Big and Rich.

9. Another First
‘Home Sweet Home’ was the first song The Farm wrote together the trio ever wrote together.

10. Things Happen For A Reason
Before Krista Marie had a career in Nashville she rode Motocross motorcycles and was a movie stuntwoman. Five years ago she had a pretty tough accident on a motorcycle and almost lost her life. The doctor (Dr. Kregor) who saved her life and gave her life a second chance is thanked by Krista on The Farm album. If the accident hadn’t happened neither might the opportunity to form The Farm.
