This past Saturday, Joy Williams of the duo Civil Wars gave birth to a baby boy named Miles Alexander. This is the first child for Williams and her husband Nate Yetton, who is also the band’s manager.
“Now I really know what love at first sight means,” Williams tweeted to her followers on Sunday.
The band (Joy Williams and John Paul White) had recently announced that they would be taking a hiatus for the summer, due to the impending birth of Joy’s child. The last gig they played was at Bonnaroo, the annual music festival in Tennessee (a few videos from their performance were postedto Bonnaroo’s YouTube page).
