Nathan Blankenship is not only a huge Kenny Chesney fan, he’s also nearly identical to the country star! At last weeks stop in Nashville Nathan’s image caused such a disturbance with other fans who “thought” he was Kenny Chesney that he was escorted out of the show.

Nathan with a blue sleeveless shirt and kenny-like cowboy hat was on the floor during Tim McGraw’s performance and according to WKRN News, “fans thought they were seeing Chesney in the crowd, and that created a disturbance.”

Nathan says he wasn’t trying to impersonate a celebrity and that it was wrong to throw him out after he paid $200 for floor a seat.

Here is how some Y108 listeners reacted to the incident.

Tyler Tyburski wrote: I think they should have given him a warning at the gate… At least then he would know his consequences.

Haylee Thomas wrote: I think no matter what he did people were still going to think it was him.. did they expect him to wear a t-shirt with I’m not Kenny Chesney on it?

Michelle Happ wrote: “If anyone would have paid attention, they would have seen Nathan had a tat on his upper arm and Kenny doesn’t.”

Eugenia Glos wrote:  I don’t think he intentionally did it, there was no way around it unless he didn’t wear a hat.

John Stokan wrote: “did it on purpose for attention”

Mary DeLuca wrote: “I think he did it on purpose but what is wrong with that? I’ve been to concerts and had to take a double take because there was someone there impersonating the star. Nothing wrong with it..”

Geo Bennett wrote: “I can tell you from experience that Kenny Chesney, or any artist of his stature, does not just go out into the stands at a stadium show and just hang out an hour before he hits the stage. Who falls for this??”
