It ain’t much, that’s for sure. My wife does the real gardening, but I love my roses. I have two of them and I thought I’d share the progress of one of them with you.
If you love to garden, and have the time, I certainly share your love. Unfortunately, I have too little time and maybe a few too many weeds but I’ve been given two roses as gifts over the years and with this early warm weather they’re looking wonderful and ready to bloom.
So, I’ll keep a little journal with you and maybe we can all trade some gardening tips.
I cover my roses over the winter and they seem to like that. I feed ‘em Miracle-Gro about twice a month and with Pennsylvania’s spring rains I don’t really need to water them much.
What I find different this year, is because of the warmer weather and the very mild spring, they are about to bloom…and here we are in early June!
So take a look, engage me with your comments and coming up more roses and my sweet smelling compost pile. Oh, I’m serious about my compost!!
