1)  His Self-titled Debut Album: “Casey James” was released March 20th, 2012 and features “Let’s Don’t Call It A Night.”

2) The Songwriter: Casey co-wrote 9 of the 11 songs on his album including the single “Let’s Don’t Call It A Night.”

3) Stars Writers He’s Worked With: Include Alabama’s Randy Owen and Sugarland’s Kristian Bush

4) Touring: Casey opened for Sugarland’s The Incredible Machine Tour. He was also part of the American Idol Tour in 2010.

5) Top 10 Idol Tour Set-List: Casey performed “I Got Mine” by The Black Keys, “Don’t” by Shania Twain, “It’s All Over Now” by Bobby Womack and “Have You Ever Really Loved A Woman” by Bryan Adams during the tour.

6) Notable American Idol Performances: He’s best remembered for his performances of: “Mrs. Robinson” by Simon & Garfunkel, “Heaven” by Bryan Adams, “Jealous Guy” by John Lennon and “Every Rose Has It’s Thorn” with Bret Michaels.

7) Good Press: The USA Today music critic, Brian Mansfield, said that Casey James was “the best guitar player” American Idol has seen.

8) American Idol: Casey James made it to the Top 3 of Season 9 on American Idol and was eliminated on May 19th, 2010.  He had never seen the show before competing on it and he was 27 at the time.

9) His Influences: include PearlJam, Stevie Ray Vaughan and Lynyrd Skynyrd

10) The Accident: When Casey was 21, he was nearly killed in a serious motorcycle accident.  Doctor’s told him he would never be able to play guitar again, but he proved them wrong!
