Country Music seldom makes headlines at the annual Grammy show. Okay well maybe Taylor Swift does now but what follows is the first C&W(as they called it)Grammy performance winner back in 1958!
It was a huge country pop crossover from the Kingston Trio. It’s an old three chord song called, Tom Dooley. If you’ve been on a camp-out somebody’s surely sung it around the campfire. This is how it looked on the 1958 Grammys.
